Reading & Writing Assignments

Real stories. Real stakes. One theme, four readings.

Every packet starts with a story your students will actually want to talk about, then builds into research, analysis, and debate. Download a packet, pick the reading that fits your students, and assign it.

How these work

Each packet contains four self-contained reading assignments organized around a single theme. Every reading is paired with a suggested course level, but you're free to use any reading with any class. All four share the same structure: a specific story, the broader concept, student-sourced research, tiered questions, and an optional for/against debate.
